Villiers contracted to develop the new 1.2 litre V twin for Connaught Motorcycles!
V TWIN SPECIFICATION
Villiers are currently developing a brand new Villiers V Twin air cooled engine which will be used in the upcoming new Connaught motorcycle. It is an extremely compact design for its capacity. It features 4 valve heads with external belt driven cams. Power is expected to be peak at over 100bhp.
We will publish development photos and dyno videos of the engine as the program moves forward. Currently we are at the initial casting stage as can be seen in the photos here.
The engine will also feature in other models being produced by our sister companies in various other capacities.
